- I had a similar problem with my MFC3. I finally found that if I didn't
- run Steve Koren's Job Monitor, I didn't have the problem. Have you tried
- running with a standard setup(ie. booting for a copy of your original WB
- disk with the MFC3 software installed on it)?

- Don't worry about the jumper. I don't have anything on mine, so I guess
- the manual is wrong in this case.

- I don't know if the MFC3 is as sensitive to static as the standard ports.
